| Butler County is in the northeastern part of the State of Iowa, and is bounded on the north by Floyd County; on the northeast by Bremer County; on the southeast corner by Black Hawk County; on the south by Grundy County; on the southwest corner by Hardin County (between Franklin and Grundy Counties); on the western border by Franklin County; and on the northwest corner by Cerro Gordo County (between Franklin and Floyd counties). |
